Not my favourite time of year this, the weather is cold one minute, scorching the next, I can't keep up, my wardrobe can't keep up and my body can't decide whether to hibernate or not. Roll on the snow...

Another busy week, a bit of php, sql, some vba and a mail merge later and the newsletter survey is ready to go. Hopefully a reduction in future work but it's seen a few late nights this past week. Once my exam is over I get the fun task of designing an admin front end for it all to reduce the need for phpmyadmin (great invention that).

That "apart from a little bit of time tomorrow morning" comment I made last blog was very silly of me! It turned into the whole of Wednesday at work doing other stuff, Thursday afternoon, Friday morning, Monday and today doing timetables. We ended up having to do tonnes more than I had anticipated, with some very dodgy software (I can see why they try to drill home the importance of good design on my course, just wish people already in the biz had learnt it too!) and many trips around in circles.

Happy Birthday to me (belated from yesterday). The conclusion, I\'m giving up birthdays.

Not really anything else happening hence the complete lack of entries these few weeks. The bbq has been and gone, not doing them anymore either.

After a wonderful week away it\'s back again to reality - and a toddler going through his terrible two\'s Had a great time, I will hopefully get around to writing up a proper page all about it but in the meantime holiday photo\'s here. They\'re not in order, they have no comments but hey, enjoy

I\'m going to attribute it to summer holiday madness but I\'ve actually had some very productive days since we broke up. Not only have a made a good start on my new webpage... startling myself at how much php/sql I actually do know... but I\'ve also been up before nine two days running and... I spent an hour this morning cooking pancakes for breakfast!?!
