We went to see Bridget Jones 2 last night. What a load of twaddle!

Whereas the first film was a clever adaptation of the book this one was complete sacrilege of what is a very funny piece of literature. The film was not funny, it wasn\'t even good, it was dull and silly. Where was Gary the builder? Magda\'s kids? The dead body under the stairs? What happened to the real Rebecca? Mr Darcy\'s poem? and who on earth decided that Paul Nicholls made a good Jed? (which is sadder, that I know his name is Paul Nicholls or that I know his real name is Paul Greenhalgh?). I don\'t understand why they decided to cut out pretty much all of the good stuff from the book and replace it with a load of rubbish. I\'m very disappointed, I was looking forward to sharing the film with people I wouldn\'t be able to get to read the book, it sucks

Moral of the story, I no longer choose which film we go to see.
