You know you are ill when...

you find yourself watching countless hours of cbeebies even though you've got desparate housewives and house sat on disk waiting to be watched Sad

This bug is not leaving me as quickly as I had hoped. I woke up this morning thinking that I was perhaps feeling a little better, the feeling hasn't lasted, I now feel just as bad as yesterday. Grrr to toddler germs.

I've found myself partaking in an activity I haven't done for ages. Not rollerblading unfortunately, I've been reading a book. An actual ink on paper, story type book. Around the world in 80 days. It's good. Yes I'm aware it's a kids book but it suits my mentality at the moment and I didn't get around to reading it as a child favouring enid blyton and arther ransome at that time. I've seen the cartoon before, and watched the film but neither seem as good as the actual thing, especially now I've got used to the style of writing. The only thing I am finding however is that the characters in my head are still those of the cartoon version oh and the book seems to be largely based on geography of which I am totally useless at so large chunks are washing overhead a bit. I have a feeling this book will enter the three day read rather than the six month one though so it must be good Smiling
