It's a bit wet

My tomato plants are currently drowning in the garden, along with the peppers, peas and onions Sad It appears that the lovely summery weather hasn't lasted, just long enough for us to all melt at work last week but now the holidays are upon us bring on the torrential rain.

Spent a lovely day in town sorting out some loose ends. My ring is now in, purchased, and safe in the vault until December. Shoes have been looked at (there was even the hint that I may be allowed to wear boots... well my feet will get cold!). Bridesmaids dresses researched, another trip to Lincoln needed we think although Norwich is a possibility too - along with something warm for me to wear, who's idea was it to get married in December? Mine? hmm. Mother has looked at hats. And of course, as we were in town, a few tops and some jeans had to be bought Laughing out loud A nice chinese for lunch finished us off and just allowed for us to wobble to the bus, very nice Smiling

So this week sees the usual half-term list. OU to catch up on, some logger to do, a website or two to look at and some other little jobs to attend to. Ok so I've given into the dark side and am reading up on vb.net.. it actually looks quite cool but don't tell Mr Chugg Smiling I've also, quite ironically considering my sense of direction, been asked to produce a new school map ready for July so that should take up some time, it's so big now! How impressed are you right now? I've been navigating the new building for a term now and haven't got lost once Laughing out loud
