oh dear, 4 weeks

A highly productive week yet somehow not much has been achieved Beee

A few more tweaks have had to be done to the report writer which set me back a little bit although, luckily, the reorganisation of code from the other week meant changes weren\'t too devastating. Now all that\'s left to do, in the immediate future at least, is an idiots \"how to\" guide... not that I\'m describing our staff as idiots you understand... Smiling

Despite reading 4 weeks worth of work this week unfortunately the tma hasn\'t progressed as well as I\'d hoped. A couple of questions semi-done but it seems the deciphering of what is needed is going to take more time. It appears to be the case of \"guess what the question setter was thinking the answer should be\" rather than straight forward logical stuff Sad I knew there was a reason I detested this designing lark last year!

I successfully (I hope) put the certificate operation into motion on Thursday so by Friday, Monday at the latest, I should be in a position to start printing. I\'ve also managed to get the vba stuff written to deal with the collating, sorting and merging of all the information and I have a certificate template almost complete. I like this sort of job, this is fun Smiling

So onto the week ahead then, what a lot still to do...

  • must get the shout typed up, set out and ready for proof by Friday, it needs to be printed for new intake on the 7th which takes about 4 days;
  • timetabling starts, all being well, Thursday morning;
  • need a decent draft of the concert program done by the end of the week although at a push this one can wait;
  • report writer idiots guide needs doing for mid-week so we can get the trial run underway;
  • and number one, must be nearly finished by the weekend, the tma needs doing which requires mucho more reading and some serious thinking.

Think that about covers everything, let me know what I\'ve missed!
