Another weekend

Well there we go then, another weekend over, another week beginning and only four weeks until we break up for Christmas! The snow was short lived although very pretty while it lasted. It\'s still extremely cold however, I have been forced to dig out my big winter coat.

Things are starting to get very busy now. The staff deadline for shout copy is this friday so I\'m expecting a fair bit in this week, will be good to get on with it. We\'re off to London on Friday, a post-16 trip to the Imperial War Museum which I too have been invited to, should be fun although it\'s going to be a very long day Beee I\'ve spent this weekend doing little bits and pieces. We spent the majority of yesterday without heating (don\'t ask) so that was kind of wasted huddled up in blankets freezing (I\'m not too good with the whole cold thing). Today I\'ve pottered about in my room and then been working on my vb project. It\'s starting to get somewhere although the more I figure out the more I find to do... always the way I guess. It\'s nice to have something to chew over in my brain though, prevents too much thinking about other stuff.

I\'ve very nearly finished my Bridget Jones book, anyone who knows me will know what an achievement that is. I used to be a book a day girl, these days a book a year is doing well, life just seems to get in the way... which reminds me, must get my eyes tested, been getting some awful headaches just lately. Or maybe I should just learn when to take a break!
