Those were the days..

Little girl to little boy in supermarket:

\"I\'ve got three bouncy balls - but they\'re all lost in the bushes\"

Those were the days. When your greatest worry in the world was that several of your tennis balls were sat in the middle of next door\'s lawn.

Do I wish I was still there? yes. Do I wish I could go back and do it all again? no.

A busy and somewhat bizaar week followed by an equally busy weekend. After Andrew\'s visit into work on Tuesday the week has felt very strange, working subjects on the wrong days hasn\'t helped, a missing Monday and then two days of invigilation added to the confusion. I managed to fit in some but not all of the coursework I needed to do, must buckle down this week and get on with some more.

Learnt mucho javascript this week - or re-learnt in the case of some. I now know how to create my own javascript objects (very cool) and I think I\'m finally getting the hang of this whole xml thingy. I\'m hoping against hope that something miraculous will appear between now and tuesday so it looks like I have actually put in some work (instead of the going around in circles for hours on end which is the reality).

Also a quick dabble with word vba today saw a very worthwhile macro written to automatically merge out and save separate subject report templates. It will be redundant (fingers crossed) by the summer but it\'s saved me some time this week so I\'m happy. Maybe I can adapt it to work with something else...
