Officially a bad week

You know when you have one of those weeks, those weeks that start off bad and gradually get worse as they wear on? I am having one of those weeks!

It started with andrew getting ill again on sunday so no sleep for anyone sunday night. Mum then went down with it on Monday culminating in having to have the doctor out to her monday night. So then we have mum and andrew ill and again no sleep monday night. Tuesday night comes, very little sleep. Wednesday night, a bit of sleep but then I had to be up early this morning for a doctors appointment.

Then the doctor, in his infinite medical wisdom decides today would be a good day for me to have another blood test - I haven\'t had one in a while it seems.

Now those who know me will know I am not a big fan of blood tests. When I first got ill they were a very regular, painful experience. The worst was the time the nurse stuck the needle through one side of the vein and out the other, very painful. Trying to get the needle out when the vein has closed around it was very very painful and then she proceeded to butcher the other arm because she had drawn no blood. Several bottles later and I was left drained, dizzy and in a lot of pain. I have hated blood tests ever since.

I have to admit that todays wasn\'t too bad, the nurse was nice, the needle small and the amount drawn titchy but even so, why this week?

Aside from illness the week has gone wrong in other ways. Invigilation has been a trial. I\'ve not been able to play properly in recorders/band/jazz because of invigilation.

Oh my new phone arrived, that\'s a plus. My new sim doesn\'t work, that\'s the kind of week I\'m having. I am unable to receive messages Sad Much to-ing and fro-ing to o2 has received no joy so I\'m facing having to hand it all back to them. It\'s a cool phone (samsung d500) but not worth this hassle.

The report writer meeting went well, we\'ve sold them on the idea but have been told to produce a product ready for a dummy run in three week, arrgghh!

And then there\'s all the ou stuff I need to do... Roll on half term!
