Hazy autumn days

Well I\'ve done it, walked to work two days in a row Laughing out loud Very pleased with myself. Unfortunately it will have to be a car day tomorrow, can\'t carry my saxophone all that way - I miss my oboe Sad It\'s actually been quite pleasant walking.

Back to work

Honestly, I go away for two days and come back to utter chaos. Not only is our gateway machine fighting a disk error (it\'s holding on by the skin of it\'s teeth at the moment) and has been down most of the weekend, but we came back to P\'boro being in an fm blackout.

Where did half-term go?

I can\'t believe it\'s Thursday already, such a busy busy week it seems. Been away since the weekend, chilling, working on my macro (learning lots along the way) and doing general type jobs. It\'s been good. Back home now for a few days and then we\'re off to Reading for the weekend (not a reading[books] weekend as mum thought Smiling). Should be good, interesting if the forecast gales hit.

It's all over :-)

Well the day of the exam has been and almost gone. Didn\'t go great I fear but it is at least over and done with now so yay! Smiling

Nothing else to report. No newsletter tomorrow it seems so perhaps a good start to a relaxing holiday Smiling

This was posted to a conference earlier, thought it quite good...

Best laid plans

I love the way I can get a week all planned out in my head and then the next day everything changes! The newsletter mailing has been moved to the end of the week - Friday at my insistance seeing as I won\'t be there Thursday. On a positive note this means I\'ve had tonight and will have tomorrow night to revise. On a negative it means that celebrations for the course being over will be relegated to the weekend.

Count down to thursday

Thursday is now very much in a looming position. However so is half-term and I\'m looking forward to that so it\'s not all doom and gloom Smiling. I\'m hoping the week will run fairly easily but you know it won\'t. An emailing tonight or tomorrow (hopefully not wednesday) will be intermingled with mucho revision I think.

Ready for half term... NOW!

I\'m really worn out. Think I\'m still getting over the dreaded lurgy from last week but I really haven\'t time to be so tired Sad Revision isn\'t going great, it seems there\'s one thing after another to keep me from it at the moment. New intake evening on Tuesday went well (one of the busiest we\'ve ever had) but that meant I couldn\'t stay behind to work. A migrane yesterday forced me to come home so no work done then.
